Summer Snacks (Simple Italian Vinaigrette Recipe!)

There are just sometimes where you have just got to go to your local convenience store and pick up nibbles, especially when you have friends visiting! Tonight we had our friends Lynne and Gill (they're sisters) over for an overdue catch-up as Gill was up from London for the week.



With weather as fantastic as it has been recently (especially for the UK), there was no other option but laying out a picnic blanket and sitting in the garden. PLUS we had the added entertainment of watching a tree surgeon at work!

One of my favourite nibbles choices are olives, especially with some feta and a little vinaigrette. Its so easy to make too! To suit this, all you need is;
300ml of good olive oil,
100ml of white wine vinegar,
1 clove of minced garlic,

1/2 a teaspoon of oregano
and salt & pepper! Mix, and you're done!

So get out in the sun, soak up the rays and take advantage, because we have no idea how long this weather will last!
